Tornado will be remaining at the Great Central Railway in Nottinghamshire through June 2026.
On Saturday 27th and Sunday, you've got the chance to drive the locomotive. A strictly limited chance to take the regulator of this famous machine will see you on the footplate for 16 miles, (8 driving and 8 firing) with the journey will take 75 minutes. On the same weekend, you can once again travel along the main line with this incredible machine. There are return tickets for adults, for a 20 mile journey, with all children travelling for just £1.
