Ruddington Fields Depot
Discover our collection of heritage locomotives, rolling stock and historic buses — all preserved and maintained by dedicated volunteers
The Collection
Our depot at Ruddington Fields is home to a remarkable collection of heritage vehicles — some ready for action on the line, others awaiting their turn for restoration. Together they span over a century of British railway and road transport history.
Besides the railway's own vehicles, we welcome private owners and preservation societies dedicated to the upkeep of vehicles with special historical significance. Every vehicle here has a story, and our volunteers work tirelessly to ensure those stories are preserved for future generations.
