We're looking forward to our big reunification weekend on the 5th and 6th of April. Working closely with our friends at the GCR in Loughborough, the event is set to showcase one of the biggest projects in rail preservation.
The event will demonstrate the potential of a unified Great Central to be an unparalleled living museum, with special exhibits and tours from experts giving you the opportunity to find out more about the 'missing link', and the people bringing it back.
Trains will be running from Ruddington to just outside Loughborough Brush works, and from Loughborough to Leicester. A fleet of heritage buses will connect both railways, for a true eighteen-mile transport heritage experience.
It's sure to be an exciting two days, and we look forward to meeting you there!

There is no station at Loughborough East Jct. - passengers remain on the train.
