We have a visiting steam engine at the Great Central Railway (Nottingham). We're really excited to welcome this 1911 built machine, which means we can run steam passenger trains along the line for the first time since before the pandemic.
It is staying over the Summer and will haul trains to Rushcliffe Halt. It's first trains will be at the Railway 200 Celebrations (a joint event with the GCR in Leicestershire) on the 5th and 6th of July.
See it in steam now in our latest video news roundup!
