We're celebrating 200 years of passenger rail travel with an event specially for local communities and families. This event marks the long-awaited return of steam-hauled passenger trains to Ruddington. These will depart to/from Rushcliffe Halt at the times shown below:
Entry information
Alongside the steam train we will be celebrating 200 years of railway with activities, display boards and fun for all the family around the site.
What to Expect
- Miniature Railway & Modern Diesel Displays
- Storyboards displaying Ruddington Station’s history
- Children’s attractions (bouncy castle, football games)
- Heritage Café open for refreshments
- Bus link to Rushcliffe Halt
- Indian Street Food Train* (pre bookable experience only)
