The Summer Holidays are here and to keep the whole family entertained we're running extra heritage trains for the holidays! With kids travelling for a Quid, planning summer activities has never been easier.
We are looking forward to welcoming you aboard, departing from Ruddington Fields Station, for a round trip to Rushcliffe Halt and back. Sit back and relax and you journey through the Nottinghamshire countryside!
Our cosy, Heritage Café will also be open for hot and cold food, hot drinks and soft drinks, ready to keep you fuelled up throughout your day, and makes the perfect pit stop for lunch before exploring the rest of the Heritage Centre.
Make a complete day out of your visit by visiting the Rushcliffe Country Park only a few minutes’ walk away from the Nottingham Heritage Centre! Have a run around, explore the history of the area at the visitor centre and stop for an ice cream to cool down during the warm summer’s day!
There is something for everyone to enjoy this summer, whether you are a heritage train enthusiast, an outdoors lover or looking for something different to do with the family during the holidays, this summer only experience is waiting for you!
