For the first time, we’re building a brand new toilet block at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre. It’s a major step forward for us as it will have full wheeled access, baby change and shower facilities. It will be for visitors and volunteers. It will mean we can close the existing temporary and life expired loos.
We’ve been awarded a grant of £40,000 from the UK Shared prosperity fund, via Rushcliffe Borough Council towards the estimated £65,000 total cost. Now we’re fundraising to find the rest.
Decent toilets will enhance our visitors experience and help us grow. We hope you can help us raise some pounds so we can all spend a penny in comfort. Our aim is to have the new facilities ready for the Christmas event season.
Please can you help with a donation? Every pound helps. Head to lnergctrust.org to make a donation on line. Or you can send a cheque - made payable to "LNER (GC) HERITAGE TRUST" through the post to Secretary, LNER (GC) Heritage Trust, Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre, Mere Way, Ruddington, Nottingham, NG11 6JS.
Thank you for your valued and generous support.
