Trains running at half term

6 February, 2025

On Wednesday 19th of February and Sunday 23rd February, take a scenic trip along the Great Central Railway in Nottinghamshire for half term.

There are great views from the windows of our heritage diesel train which dates all the way back to the early 1960s. You can travel from the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre as far as Rushcliffe Halt station, just north of the village of East Leake.

Even better, it's sensationally good value for kids. Tickets are only £1 per child.

The heritage cafe will be open serving hot food and drinks. On site parking is available for just £3.

You can book your tickets in-person on the day, or online here:
