Hundreds of families from around Nottinghamshire visited Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre this weekend for train ride full of music and fun aboard the Jingle Bell Express. This new event combines an original performance with the classic visit to Father Christmas, and has proven highly popular.
For volunteers and enthusiasts at the railway, this marks a long awaited return of passenger trains to the historic main-line from Ruddington to Rushcliffe Halt. The small team has worked tirelessly to bring heritage trains, track and infrastrusture back into service, and thanks are due to everyone who has made it a success.
Remaining tickets on The Jingle Bell Express are now extremely limited, with only a few seats remaining later in December. Book now to reserve a place for your family!
