Nottingham Area Bus Society (NABS) has a diverse fleet of buses and coaches, from NCT, Barton, South Notts, Trent, and Midland General. The collection spans the 20th century, from classic half-cabs to 1980s rear-engined designs.
Most of the buses are in full working condition, and can be seen out on local roads giving demonstration rides, as well as participating in community events.
Our Ruddington base has secured covered accomodation for the vehicles, and a well-equipped workshop. Dedicated volunteers can be found keeping the running vehicles in top condition, and restoring scrapyard finds to museum condition.
You don't need to have specialist skills to join us, just bring your enthusiasm! If you have a few hours to spend each week, enjoy working with an enthusiastic bunch of people, and relish a sense of achievement surrounded by some fascinating vehicles, come along and see us.
